Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I moved into The Greene, a newly built Lifestyle Communities Townhome subdivision, November 2012. Everything seemed fine when I moved in until I received my first bill, totaling over $250 for the first months bill and every bill I have received after that has been $200 if not more. I have called the customer service number to inquire why my bill is so high for myself and two small children, and she politely informed me that keeping my heat above 68 degrees would cause an increase in my bill.

So, then I started turning my heat down to 68 degrees when I left home for work and because it's the winter turning it up to 70 or 71 degrees to heat up the house, since one of my children has health problems the house can't be too cold or it will affect her asthma.

Even after a month of this my electric/ water bill still continually finds its way to stay above $200, which I can't understand because when I had AEP and Vectren prior to moving in, and coming from another townhome from up the street called Brice Grove Parks, 43110 my bills were NEVER this expensive.

Because my electric bill has been so expensive, I have found myself more conscience of energy waste and do what I can by unplugging things not in use from the wall such as chargers, televisions, air fresheners, etc., but I still feel this is a ridiculously high of a bill to continually be charged. They even charge for the communitys clubhouse and pool, of all of the rental properties that I have lived at NEVER have I been charged on my energy bill a monthly fee for the use of it even before I could use it, given it just opened the last week of February 2013.

Im usually one for supporting small business, but taking advantage of people because they can is not right. In the future when I look to move after my lease is up, I will be sure to forewarn those around me to reconsider where they are moving if this is the energy company they will be using.
