My boyfriend and I went to Nationwide Furniture Warehouse on February 23, 2004 and purchased a dinette set. At this time we were told they only had two of the 4 chairs that go with the dinette set and the other two would be in that Friday, February 27th. We paid cash for the dinette set, and left with the table and two chairs.

Friday, we called and were told due to bad weather up north, the delivery truck would be delayed a few days, call back Monday. Monday came and still no chairs. Upon contacting the Manager Antonio, he told us that the truck would definitely be in Friday, March 5th.

March 5th came and went, still no chairs. We called to speak with the manager Antonio again that Friday afternoon. We were told that the truck came it, but there were no dinette sets on that truck, only bedding. The dinette sets were going to be on a truck arriving Tuesday, March 9th.

We went by the store on March 9th to pick up the chairs. Upon arriving, we were told the chairs didn't come in and we should call them Thursday or Friday and they should have them for us. Still no chairs.

I called the store on March 12th to get the number for the regional manager. I called the customer service number I was given and no one returned my call.

It is now March 30th and we still have no chairs, and I have reported them to the better business bureau here in Birmingham. Hopefully, we'll get our chairs or a refund. I will never shop here again and I will make sure all my friends know what kind of business this is. They are awful.
