I have read the reports by the many clients of NCRC and am very angry! I myself just completed paying off my balance which I started in April 2002. Starting in June 2002, I started having problems with them.

After reading about how they have failed to refund the deposits, I am concerned especially now when i am expected a refund. Am I going to get my $300.00 I paid back? Heck Yeah!

So far I have contacted them 3 times! 3 times in 2 weeks and no response. Sounds like its a problem. They have no problem with collecting the money and depositing it into their bank accounts, but when they have to refund money, they pull a dissapearing act on us!

I am documenting everything I e-mail, and telephone conversations and what was said. I would suggest some of the clients do the same. If I do not receive notice from them in 1 week, I will file reports and contact news stations all around, starting with KRON 4. Please do not let them scam other hard working people.

DO NOT SIT IDLE WHILE THEY CONTINUE!

I went through NCRC to resolve my debt issues. At times the individuals I got, due to luck of the day, were difficult to deal with. When I felt that my issue was not being dealt with in a timely manner, I made sure to ask for the supervisor. When talking with the supervisor I was able to give the individuals name and pertinant information. When I signed up they were honest with me in telling me that it would be difficult at first, but honestly it wasn't any more difficult than what I had put myself through by letting my bills get out of hand. I received my refund about 6 months after completing the program because the creditors had to respond to a letter that NCRC sent them to verify that the account was paid in full. I received a statement and tracked how much money went out and how much money I paid in to verify that everything was on the up and up. Bottom line, we all know how difficult it is dealing with creditors, imagine being the individuals that work at NCRC. The get to deal with the creditors and the customer. I beleive that the customers have to take some responsibility for their accounts and work with NCRC, it is not completely turn key. Meaning I never expected that NCRC would get my bills and I would be completely with out any responsibility.

Yesterday, I wrote a rebuttle to the title "Don't sign up". I would like to say I did not mean my comments to be destructive to NCRC. I was mearly venting my fustration with their customer service department in general. Today I received a phone call from NCRC's consumer affairs department. I found this gentleman to be very helpful and accommodating. He listened to my concerns and went above and beyond his job title. This person is going to personally handle my account for the next six months, to insure things are handled correctly. My hats off to this indvidual! Thanks for easing my concerns and providing good customer service!

#4Consumer Suggestion

I too have been taken in by NCRC. These people had my deposit of $300.00 in their account for three months, before they established agreements with my creditors. This caused me to accumulate over the limit fees and late fees, this angered me so!!!!. I'm currently still on their program and my creditors have sent my their commitment letters, acknowleding their acceptance into the program. Also, they contiue to send statements showing payments all payments made to them. What I don't understand is if you make an on line payment to them, why does it take 7-8 business days to clear and pay your creditors? My account shows the deduction so, why can't they credit your payment as quick as their debit your account?
