Net Spend_ Ace Cash Express Ace Elite Card complete scam and ripoff Dallas Dallas
I purchased a Ace Elite Card which is a pre load card at Ace Cash Express for a emergency card payment as I had lost my wallet and then loaded the Ace Cash Express Net Spend Card with $800 dollars ..paid a extra fee for not being charged a $1.00 to $2.00 per purchase for $9.95 and $3.50 for the card. FOLLOWING without my old billfold I misplaced the card after one $24 dollar transaction. I visited Ace Immediatly and I then was told by Ace Cash Express to purchase another card for a fee and they would transfer the remaining over 750 plus balance money to the new card.. I waited at the store two hours and the Ace Cash Express Clerk could not get a call back from Net Spend in the Phillipines call center a third world country as the message was "all lines are busy" so we had to wait more hours for a call back ( nothing Store closed).In the meantime I attempted to report the call lost or stolen. To no avail the same telephone message "wait for a call back".
Fifteen hours later I had no call back or was able to report the card stolen "All lines are busy". The on line system was no help as it locked me out as my secret pass code had been altered. The Philipines.
The next day with the card still vulnerable more so my money to theft activity I went back to Ace and after two more hours hours I was able to cancel the card and have the money transfered to the new card. I then asked if I could use a coupon to save myself fees. Net Spend and Ace Cash Express then charged me a additional fifteen dollars to cancel the card and get my money back.
The person from Ace or Net Spend on the Ace Cash Express transaction was using their personal cell phone which now had my personal social security number etc in her personal cell phone.
In total the experience cost me a total of FORTY dollars and change to have the Ace Net Spend card experience that was unresponsive, unreliable and a rippoff.
It is a priveledge to have ones credit information and ones money and when not returned due to reckless unresponsiveness in a emergency scenario holding those funds HOSTAGE for ALMOST 24 HOURS IS JUST criminal. I am sure the DOLLAR charges exceeded usery in the State of Texas for the three day experience with the Visa Ace Cash Elite Card.
I reccomend no one deal with these people Even the Ace employee stated the card is a bad deal.. and she apologized.
Purchase a American Express Gift Card Cheaper and proffesional.
