nexgen logistics of detroit refuses to pay me last 3 paychecks birmingham, Michigan
Never got paid on time. I did everything I was suppose to do and pay was not close to what was agreed upon. Truck was a piece of crap. Typical small fleet owner, by crap and never maintain it. Gave 2 week notice and was told by Joe haji I would not get paid until new driver was in truck. Well 4 months later still no payment and the little lying weasel will not return phone calls or answer texts.

I just recently quit employment with this company and as sure as snow is white, my next check did not get deposited nor am I getting any return calls on the matter. I will still have 2 more paychecks coming after the one due to me. I have read enough complaints on various websites and am sure if enough of us band together that some stiff penalties can result from this practice. My 1st step is going to be with the BBB and I have a phone full of pictures for the DOT. No judge will allow this to happen either. He has you sign a contract that really holds no weight apparantly since NextGen broke their agreement only 15 days after I started with the company and continued to break it thereafter. If my issue is not resolved in a timely matter I will be going to the limit to stop this kind of practice and I have other known people who went through this same scenario to vouch against them. Oh by the way, I gave them a 2 week notice also and was willing to stay on a little longer until a replacement was found.
