Nick's Discount TV & Appliance, Inc. ripoff did not deliver prepaid goods, I'm out $1100! Berwyn Pennsylvania
I purchased a GE Washer and Dryer from Nick's on 9/20/03 and paid $1100 upfront in order to receive an additional discount for the merchandise. Order was scheduled for delivery but no one showed up. Upon further investigation, I found out that company was already in bankruptcy proceedings and this was not communicated to me during the sale. Spoke with Nick several times and he assurred me that the merchandise would be delivered. Scheduled for another delivery yesterday- no show again. Does not answer telephone calls, shop in Berwyn is still open but only get an answering machine when called. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS VENDOR UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

After several weeks, I received a call from another vendor that plans to take over the store in Berwyn about my merchandise. According to the vendor, they were trying to help out customers that had not received goods from Nick's. To my surprise, the vendor delivered my merchandise. It is not clear to me what the situation is at Nick's but until you see the store close or open under an new name with a new owner, do not purchase anything from the store at this time (updated 10/27/30).
