North American Master Lines' internet add and their representatives do not honor their policy for claims.  Our move from Pennsylvania to New Orleans resulted in over $2000 worth of belonging that were missing at the delivery point in New Orleans. 

North American Master Lines representatives never returned calls regarding status of missing items. They would not identfy the company that moved our items to New Orleans or made any effort to track the items even when their representative/driver stated that he knew where some of the items were and he would bring them to us within a couple weeks.

North American Master Lines takes no responsiblity for the people working for them in the field and provided no help in locating or resolving the issue with missing items. Their Instruction for Filing Claims states that they cover 60 cents per pound for missing items and they required a notarized filing claim. The claim was denied based on the decision of an independent insurance company's denial of our claim for missing items.  The denial was based on not identifying missing items at the time of delivery, which was impossible because many of the items were packed by North American movers in boxes that were not marked with what was in them.

In two appeal letter to the owner of this company,I explained that large items that were obiviously missing were promised by their driver that they would be brought to us but he never brought them. I explained that there was approximately 1700 lbs. of goods delievered in unmarked boxes and that we could not go through them while the movers were unloading.  Their representative/driver and office represnetative stated that we had six months to file a claim but I found out that the insurance company would only honor claims upto 90 days.

Bottomline, North American Master Lines makes promise in writing and through their representatives that they take care of their customers but the truth is, once they deliver your belonging and get paid, which by the way has to be in cash or Cashier's Check at the final destination, they totally ignore the customer.

North American Master Lines is about as low as you can go when it comes to customer service and care.  In my opinion, three bums on the street are more professional and honest when moving things that this company.  

North American Master Lines is unprofessional, lies to their customers and provides the lowest level of customer service possible. Companies like North American Master Lines leaves a very black mark on the industry and I can assure them that I will never use them for future moves even if they offerred to move me for free.

Take my advice, pay a little more and avoid North American Master Lines.
