North Rock Lending Take your money and disappear Chicago Illinois
My sister fell for North Rock Lending as well. She applied for a loan, was contacted by Jacob King that she had been approved and was then told she had to send them $1500 to secure a loan of $10,000. She ws told to Western Union it and contact them with the control number and her funds would be in her account in days. After she did that she was contacted again and that the lender wanted the insurance money that was mentioned in the paper contract she received. She wired that in the amount of $1500. She was told if she did that prior to noon that day she would have the money by 4:30 that afternoon. She did that on Friday Oct. 16,2007. The money was not there, she waited until Saturday am. She called them and spoke to Jacob King again and he stated he would find out what the problem was and he would call back. She did not hear from him and she called again that Monday. He told her that she would be required to send another $1500 to receive the loan. She did not send that money. WHen she asked if her money could be returned she was told it would take 14-30 days. She has since been unable to contact them. The numbers given are false as is the address. The monies were not wired to the above address in Illinois but to Canada.
