I was told that they would postdate a debit from my checking account for $199.90 to cover processing fees for 2 new credit cards, a list of banks to help rebuild credit, and a free cell phone. I was given a customer service number (1-866-517-3698) and told that if I changed my mind I could cancel at any time and the debit would not be made. The first couple of times I tried to call, I got either a busy signal or no answer. When I finally got to talk to someone, they told me that the debit would be cancelled, but would not give me a confirmation number. The debit was not cancelled and the $199.90 was still taken out of my account.

When I called to say that the debit was supposed to be cancelled and I wanted my money back, I was told that I would have to mail a letter stating my cancellation with a bank statement and would get my money back sometime in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
