The company ripped off thousands of customers by entering them into equipment rental agreements with banks. As an employee of the company, they made numerous false promises including buyouts of current contracts with telecom carriers, fixed costs for certain services and then over billed customers, had a non decision maker sign/authorize agreements that would bind the customer into a 5 year bank lease, promised customers that even if Norvergence goes out of business their service would be continued through their carrier with no extra cost, lied about service carriers customers would get etc. Also the company lied to employees (like me) who were selling the service and trained us to give false expectations to customers that were never supported by Norvergence.

Employees were promised a certain percentage of commission on deal sizes, but the commissions were reduced once the deal went through, Norvergence bounced checks and never told the employees that there were no funds available in payroll fro months. They promised employees they would be paid and Norv . broke the law of paying their old employees 72 hours after...some employees have been waiting for months to get their last paychecks...I am out 3 pay periods...Norv. made employees in Orange County sign a arbitration agreement that may go against labor laws. Norvergence and Tom and Pete Salzano have ruined many company and individual finances and operations. As an employee of the company I am ashamed to have worked at such a horrible organization and feel for all of the people the Salzano brothers deliberately hurt.
