Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
It has been almost 24 hours now sence we have had ANY service from Norvergence, or have been able to contact their corporate offices. We have a T1 data line, and telephone lines from this company and without warning, everything went offline 6/15/2004 at 6pm. We have been trying to contact their support phone number, but we get a *verizon* message that states that our call cannot be completed as dialed.

This about sums up the entire relationship that we have had with this company. They promiss the world, slip you a tricky contract, then give you the absolute worst service of any company in the entire world. We have had weekly issues where our T1 went down, our cell phones were suddenly disconnected and never came back on!, and more, more, more.... (Just don't have the time to write it all down)

It was somewhat comforting to read on several message boards that the "registered" owner of this company is actually the brother of a man that the FTC has banned from operating in this industry. It was funny to read from employees that you never see the "registered" owner in the company offices, only the man that the FTC has banned from the industry. It looks like this scamdel goes right to the roots of this company.

With what looks like a black light on their operations that we are experiencing right now, I am starting to believe that we will not have to waist much more time on them. Hopefully someone pulled the plug on them for good!!!

False Accusations ..not out of business ..experiencing an outage .. disgruntled employee

First, you should know that Norvergence is not out of business. Second, they are experiencing an outage which, unfortunately was nationwide and affected their services as well. One of the things about a "nationwide" outage is that even the corporate office can experience T-1 failures. The customers in our market have called and inquired with us all day and we had updates to give them from our corporate office which is working very hard today to get customers like yourself up and running. Did you try and contact your local office? Did you call your screening manager's cell phone? If you would have done that, you would know that your service will be up this evening. Also, our registered owner is in the office almost daily and has made frequent contact with the MVPs around the country. He is very hands on. The employees who commented that he was never in, were probably very low level employees who weren't aware that he was out for weeks recovering from back surgery months ago. Oh, and by the way, it is rumored to be the FCC and not the FTC. You should really try to get your facts straight before making an unsubstantiated complaint about a company who has thousands of happy customers and happy employees. The employees who log complaints on this site are merely disgruntled and the 'few' customers compared to our entire customer base who have complained can easily compare to the thousands who complain about Verizon, MCI and AT&T daily. It isn't a bad company. They offer small businesses a chance to have benefits that the ILECS have been denying them for years. They get affordable T-1 lines and unlimited calling, often for less than they are already spending. Give us a break...
