Oakwood Homes - Oakwood Acceptance ripoff GREENSBORO North Carolina
After the first couple days after I bought my trailer the thermostat did not work, I called and never got any one out to fix it. They broke a window when the trailer was installed, no one would fix it. Then I took measurements and found that the 14x60 trailer was only 13'9" by 59'8", that included the tongue. So I was a little concerned about what kind of square footage I lost with the outer dementions a little shy of the sales pitch.
I had $10000 extra included for setup and hookup for electric, water, and sewer in the contract and after it was in I was told that they ran out of money and could not get water done. They refused to give me an accounting of the money spent.
1 month after I moved in the septic backed up and no one would come out to fix it. Not the company or the man who installed the septic.
This place was in a remote location and there was no local water available so I had to come out of pocket to get it in. I am paying more for this place than it is worth. High interest.
I have been having problems with everything from electrical outlets to water pipes. Even the AC/heat unit had to be replaced out of pocket.
What ever you do don't go with this company.
