Oakwood MFG homes of Houston clayton/Oakwood The floors are uneven and warping through out the entire double wide. They are falling through Houston Texas
I purchashed a new home from oakwood houston Tx. After 10 years of living in it all the sudden every floor in my home is warping and falling through. it is un-livable for me and my kids. Est. range for repairs $15,000 - $20,000. The insurance company will not replace due to the guidlines of flooring and materials. The floors are all pressed wood. An inspector told me they should never be used in any home for any reason that over time with rain, heat and humidity this is what happens. Now we are having to leave our home. We can't sell it, Oakwood will not repair it, the insurance won't cover it and i can't sell it. My only option is to let it go back to the lender and ruin my credit that I have worked so hard to build. I am at a loss- completely.
