OAN Services, Inc. - Your Billing Solutions Showed up on Verizon bill as a new service provider. Non-basic service charge of $9.25. Internet
I was surprised to see my bill almost $10 higher last month. When I reviewed it I found this new service which I did not authorize. I tried calling the customer service number for OAN billing and was on hold for several minutes. They provided an option to go on line to cancel the service.
When I went to the online site and entered the information requested, it came back as some strange error I have never seen before. I tried again only to be sent to the old "page can not be displayed" message.
I called Verizon billing and let them know I had read your web site and wasn't going to put up with them sending me unsolicited billings from some ripoff company. When I threatened to cancel all my accounts, they put a block on all third party billings and returned to charges to OAN.
The operator said the FCC forces them to accept these 3rd party billings and I told her that Verizon had better get on their butts about this or they could potentially lose a lot of revenue from unhappy customers like myself.

I just got another billing from Verizon with another fee from OAN for $9.15 after Verizon told me they would block the billings from continuing. This time I was told that they charge $26 to block these charges and since they did not charge me this fee the last time I talked to them, therefore I was going to continue to get those charges. They told me how it was a good deal to pay them to block these charges even after telling me that there was nothing I or they could do about it. Then Verizon tried telling me that they tried to stop these billings from happening but the FCC forced them to do it! This is an obvious scam perpetrated by Verizon and OAN. Even though I canceled my phone service and switched to Magicjack, they are still trying to rip me off!
