My Wife & I took a loan from a credit union and after providing a 50% deposit and purchased a BMW 750 Li (apparently under warranty) from a dealership known as “OC Auto Expo Group” in Westminster, Orange County, 2 months ago (04/15/16). We paid the dealership and over two months later, we still have no working car. When We paid for the car, the dealership took about 10 days before delivering the vehicle, claiming that there was a problem with the turbo charger and were having it replaced with a new turbo charger. When we finally took possession, two days later we noticed it was overheating and leaking oil. We called the dealership and was told by the general manager (who goes by "KB") to go to the nearest BMW dealership, have the vehicle diagnosed and they could get an approval from their warranty company (Warrantech) as they claimed the car was under warranty. The dealership is owned by a "Ronnie" Husaini or Abdul Husaini or Abdul Wahab Husaini or Wally Husaini or Abdul N Husaini…not sure which one he uses on a given day. We took the car to BMW, and after a couple of days, was contacted by the service adviser and told that it would cost near $13,000 to get the vehicle working properly, that the turbo charger in the vehicle was not the original turbo charger and that it was replaced with a used turbo charger (which was causing the oil leaks and overheating) and they would need a deposit in order to start the work. We then contacted the dealership and “KB” told us, that after discussing it with “Ronnie”, we were to bring the vehicle back to them (claiming that, “BMW jacks up the price of repairs”) and they could repair the vehicle thru one of their local mechanics, but needed to make a claim (again) with the warranty company, claiming that it was the warranty company that was at fault for putting in the used turbo charger. After two months of not getting anywhere, having little or no communication from the dealership, we had enough, so I texted “KB” and told him that I wanted him to turn over the BMW, but got no response. Finally we went to the Westminster PD and requested assistance with recovering the vehicle. Dispatch sent an officer to the dealership who was told by 'Ronnie' that the vehicle was at a mechanic's garage in Santa Ana, owned by a person named 'Steve' and he told the police officer that we were not welcomed back on his premises. We contacted Steve and was initially told by him that the vehicle was under warranty and that a claim representative had visited just that day to speak with him to confirm the vehicle damages or repairs needed and that they would provide an approval in a few days. Several days later we called Steve and was then told that the vehicle was not under warranty and that he was mistaken and was speaking about a different vehicle (although both times in our conversation, we never provided him with any vehicle identification information). He then told us that the dealership would be paying for the repairs and that he was waiting for a deposit check from them and would call us back. He's never called back, and now we cannot get him when trying to call him, as he clearly seems to be avoiding our calls, although he claims to have our car. Our lawyer then called him and he stated that we could come pick up the vehicle (as it is not drivable) since he was informed that the dealership was not going to pay to get the vehicle working. We contacted the warranty company, WarranTech, gave them the VIN# and they confirmed that the vehicle has a warranty contract attached to it, however the contract only covered the water pump, was under the previous owner's name and when they sold the vehicle they had 30 days to transfer the warranty, and the warranty contract would have been active for the new owner. Apparently this was never done. So, we have no vehicle, we are paying a loan on the car, cannot get cooperation or response from the dealership (neither KB or Ronnie) and they seemed to have moved on to the next customer to scam; we have clearly been ripped off!

Owner Ronnie Husaini was my boss for half a year. I can confirm that Ronnie wanted to build an honest, customer oriented company and was betraid by those he trusted (myself being one). I recall a meeting he stated "I want this to be a business you recommend to your family. Why have none of you ever recommended your family, are my cars crap and you guys lie to me". If i was in a situation that I knew nothing of and Ronnie asked me to trust him i would.

This dispute has been resolved. It has been revealed that the owner of the business, Mr. Ronnie Husaini, was innocent of what went wrong with the deal and was a victim of his manager's deceit, the man who goes by "KB" from Afghanistan. Mr. Husaini settled the dispute amicably with honor and made good on his promise to resolve the issue, once he found out what KB had done to us and many other customers.
