OCTALOGO Ferris Marvin , Chris Remfield and Aaron Hawke They were hire to design a website for me In Sept 2017 to date I have nothing no access to the site. This site was at a cost of $500.00. To date they have charged me $1300.00 and still no website. I have been mislead and manipulated.
All statements can be verified with copies of emails, copies of documents and recordings if anyone would like to question these facts. I have been manipulated and mislead and SCAMMED by OCTALOGO. I have spoken with my Lawyer about OCTALOGO. They lead you to believe that for $500.00 you will have an professional website complete until they get your credit card (which they keep on file) . I am starting a Class Action Lawsuit against this company Please join me if you have been scammed by these professional con artist.
I started with Ocalogo for a logo design. $100.00 paid. I received the logo and was pleased with it. Then they said I should copy write it so no one else could use it. $200.00 paid. I could either be protected in the United States but for a little more it would be an international copy-write. The fine print at the bottom, of this Certificate it state's the following (This certificate serves as a formal document that can be submitted to obtain Legal Right to the design. However it does not stand up an any Court Of Law. Octa Logo holds No Responsible if the design gets copied from Linda Schroeder ownership) this document is useless. They started talking to me about web design, I currently have a Shopify Store I designed. They told me that they could design my site and integrate it to my Shopify and it would rank high in the SEO. It would be mobile friendly etc etc. I agreed at a cost of $500.00 and that would get me a professional functioning high ranking site. I have stated all along that it has to integrate with Shopify, as Shopify has a lot of features that are extremely useful and would not give it up. They assured me no problem. I filled out several questionnaire about the look and content I was wanting. Each and every time I would get told we'll get back to you in 3-4 working days. This went on for months I would receive calls from a different person (not mentioning any names) offering what they call add-on at more cost if I want my site to do this that or the other thing and if you refused the extra charge it suddenly became free and no written break down for what the money/free would provide. Their favorite line is (you are my valuable customer). They want $200.00 more to make it mobile accessible. Another call was about 1 year or a lifetime activation fee for the use of wordpress would be another $150.00 per year or $900.00 for lifetime. Then another fee for OCTALOGO to do hosting would be $120.00 for a year and $700.00 Lifetime. However on 9-20-17 I was charged $500.00 for the wordpress website, and charged again on 10-2-17 $500.00 for one year of hosting for $120.00 per year or $700.00 lifetime and SEO friendly web content by OCTALOGO,plus $150.00 per year or $900.00 lifetime for wordpress. My understanding (confirmed by an emails ) was hosting would be $120.00 per year and $700.00 lifetime and 1 year or a lifetime activation fee for the use of wordpress would be another $150.00 per year or $900.00 for lifetime. I was charged $500.00. It does not add up. The next correspondence was as follows (copied from an email: And as per our discussion over the call I can use my coupons and will provide you the complete life time hosting and life time wordpress maintenance and activation fees which is total $1600 I can give you this complete in just $499 by using my monthly coupons. and this will be the final payment of website you don't have to pay any more yearly or monthly fees ) now I feel I'm being coned. Nov 14,17 I received a request to write the content myself and they will place it on the site. Really what did I hire you For. I asked to have access to the site and was told they could not give me access until it was live. I am now getting mad. demanding my money back because I still had nothing and to this date 2-20-18 I still have no access. I was told if I wanted to keep my Shopify store I would have to acquire another domain name and have two stores as wordpress would NOT integrate with Shopify. WTH !!!!! I was told they would provide me with the same domain name only with a (-) in the middle. At this point I said Ok I am so sick of all the con. Now on 1-29-18 They want me to buy another name if I won't take it from Shopify.
I have had it with this company the story here in brief goes on and on .
I have filed a IC3 internet fraud with the FBI and plan to pursue this until something is done. They have a 100% satisfaction or your money back guarantee on their site. Which they don't honor. I still have no access or a finished site. And the last communication with them was on 1-24-18 they have my money why should the communicate. I am tired of dealing with this company. I called today and got hung up on after a 10 minute conversation. I called back and when tranfered to the person I was speaking with will not take my call. I have filed a report with the FTC these people need to stop coning consumers. The follow is my filing with the FTC. I would encourage anyone who has experience what I have with this company to do the same. To file a report against them only takes 5 minutes.

This has just gone way too far. Ms. Linda was a very happy client initially when she did publish a 5 star review on TrustPilot saying:
"I am overwhelmed with the absolutely amazing design Mr. Ferris Marven created for my business. He is creative and artistic . Working with him was an exciting pleasure. He understood my concept and created the perfect feel and look for my business. When speaking with Chris Rumsfield and Ferriss Marven I was very impressed, they are kind ,professional, accommodating and flexible. Octalogo design company will be the company for all my business design needs. My logo is PERFECT, I could not be happier with the design or the company. Truly a great experience. THANK YOU!

Fast forward 4 months, after tons of ups and down, Ms. Linda has chosen to go rouge on Octalogo when her website is 80% done. I did acknowledge the trouble she went through. Issued a public apology under her review on TrustPilot. However, Ms. Linda is not eligible for a refund according to our terms and conditions (octalogo.com/termsnconditions). I still offered her a 50% refund and requested her to keep working with me only and I don't meet the deadline of 7 days, I'll issue her a full refund, again, she is not eligible for a refund. All I needed was a chance to right the wrongs of other. Also, serious actions were taken towards the culprits. That said, Ms. Linda declined my request furthermore, posted my emails here! Furthermore, to harass me, she called back after two days and threatened my that she would publish more reviews and take this everywhere (I have the recorded call). And that's not all, last week I got this e-mail:
"Mr Hawke
I have now post on facebook, (((REDACTED))) I will proceed to post all of this on Yellow Pages, Manta, Yelp , Rep Digger. And any other consumer site I can find until I get a full refund as I still have nothing and no communication."
This is extortion! Yes! Mistakes were made by our employees. We are not perfect which is why we apologized publicly and we breached our terms and conditions to offered refund too with some conditions. But if we give in on Ms. Linda, every other client would just start harassing us by posting reviews and using the power of social media to their maximum benefit. This digital extortion needs to stop.
Ms. Linda could have accepted my offer and by now her web would have been complete and she would also be carrying the $650 which is 50% of her full payment. But she lacked faith and decided to walk the dark path. Even called me a crook, the guy who called her, apologized like a thousand times, offered a refund and tried his best to win back Ms. Linda.
Anyhow, I have the emails and the recordings of this digital extortion if anybody needs'em.

Yes indeed Mr. Marvin Ferris did design a great logo for me. I was very happy with it. I gave him 5 star review. Then I was told and coned in to giving them $500. for full web design SEO top of the line in search. Long story short and $1,300.00 I have nothing. I paid a years Hosting and SEO friendly web content another $500. on 10/2/17 and still have no access to it. This is not extortion this is informing the public of my experience which is my right to freedom of speech. And further more I'm obviously not the only one. Please google Octalogo Reviews you wil find my experience seems to be there M.O. in business. These are jus a couple of reviews I will continue to posts other complaints until my $1,300. dollars is returned. I have filed a IC3 internet fraud with the FBI and plan to pursue this until something is done. Everyone who has been cheated, scammed ,mapluaited and rip off by this company please join me.

Unfortunately at the time I was not making sound desicions. They has done the logo for me, and nothing else. From speaking with their representative, and reading their webpage, a logo costs from $39 to $300. I informed them a few days later after the logo was done, that I needed my money back as my decision was not sound.
I said I would agree to pay the maximum for the logo $300.00, and that I would like to have the $499.00 from balance of the $799.00 returned as they never did complete the job. The salesmen have continually lied, lied, lied about returning my money since August, 2017, to present. They have said, "What's your address? The money won't be coming right away, but it's coming".
Nothing came. Other sales staff said, "Oh, we'll have a meeting about it, and call you back. No return calls. I am seeking legal counsel, and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau's as of this date February 10, 2018.
I HAVE READ REPORTS BEFORE THAT THEY ARE DISHONEST. THEY CERTAINLY DON'T NEED MY $499.00 AS THEY ARE A BIG COMPANY. I AM LEGALLY BLIND, AND I AM DISABILITY FOR OTHER PROBLEMS AS WELL. THIS DOES NOT SERVE ME, OR THEM.

Incompetent!Sketchy change of their web address...Octalogo Group...OctaLogo Design...?
Confusing and manipulative...Horrible grammar- I would expect so much better from a professional. Also, there were 2 very rude and condescending workers who I had to deal with at times. Sometimes emails would not even have complete sentences which would be confusing so I would have to email back with a question, it would take several days for them to get back to me! They constantly promised and agreed to full list tasks to be performed BUT after a payment was made, it would be like pulling teeth to get them to do or finish it.
I would later get emails stating they need more money to do something else. I know this is a lot to read but if you (unfortunately) have gone through this too -you might be interested in continuing. For example: Here are "just 2" separate (partial) emails sent from them: Email 1: "...I am confident that once this new website will be developed and once the Content Management System (CMS) will be explained to her after project completion, she would be able to hand website management, all on her own and maintain the website very easily. After I filed my first report I recevied a voice message as well as these two emails. And to date I still have no access to what I paid for nor have I heard from them because I didn't except their offer. In my repely It will explain why I did not except their offer.

I then called them and this is the offer they sent me. This company is a RIP OFF and still have my money and all I have is conversation. Why would I except half money back when I have noting and no communication. Don't trust this company. I am contacting 2 on your side to help me get my money back. my money back and still have noting.

1. Ms. Linda will be refunded half of your full payment which is $650 (if she accepts these terms).
2. Aaron Hawke will work with Ms. Linda closely and all her minor revisions like contact info, tagline and banner issues will be done in a week. (*conditions applied)
3. In a week’s time, Ms. Linda’s full WordPress design will be integrated into Shopify. (*conditions applied)
4. If Aaron Hawke, fails to do the above tasks by the first week of March, Ms. Linda will be refunded the remaining $650 too and there will be no further business between the both parties. (*conditions applied)
5. No one else would call Ms. Linda.
6. Ms. Linda will be provided access to the web’s back-end panel.
7. If Ms. Linda’s website requires any kind of payment, Octalogo will bear the cost and Ms. Linda won’t be charged anything from this day on wards.
8. Ms. Linda will take down the negative reviews immediately as she will be refunded the $650 and a receipt of the refund will also be sent to her (if she accepts these terms) and she will also be refunded the remaining $650 if Aaron Hawke comes up short of the above mentioned tasks by the first week of March.
9. Until the first week of March, Ms. Linda will hold all legal actions, as she will be refunded fully if Aaron Hawke comes up short of the above mentioned tasks.
