On 3/16/04 I called Ocwen , my mortgage co. to request a payoff total. After confirming it with Chris Faris at BB&T bank. I also requested a 30 day payoff period. Kevin Hostskins was the man I spoke with at ocwen federal bank.He told me that he would send me the payoff total in 3 to 5 days. He also told me that a 30 day payoff period was no problem. He told me that the 30 day payoff period would begin on that day.3/16/04 After a week and a half,I stiil had not received the payoff total from ocwen.I called them back a second time. This time I spoke with a man named Jeff George.I ask him for a payoff total and requsted a 30 day payoff period . He also told me that I would get the total in 3 to 5 days .He also told me that a 30 day payoff period was no problem ,that if I needed longer ,just call them back before 3/16/04 for that was when the orginal payoff period began. I called ocwen with a closing date on 4/01/04. It was at this time Jeff George informed me that my house was going on the auction block at 10o'clock the very next morning! I was shocked because I had no knowledge of this up intil this moment. I told Mr. George that he and Kevin Hostkins personally gave me a 30 day payoff period and that I had no knowledge of this until now! Mr. George told me that the only thing to keep me from the auctioning block would be $4000 dollars. When I reminded him that he personally gave me a 30 day payoff period ,the $4000 droped to $2200 ! Mr. George tol;d me to have $2200 on his desk before 10 and this would save me from auction. I sent 3 differnt payments thur western union a total of $1200 dollars . This was all I could come up with in that short of time . The banks were closed when I recived this info . Even though my mother had signed and had noterized the bill of sale and the quit claim deed on 2-1-04 Ocwen sold my home on the auction block that day 3/02/04. I feel that this is againist my civil rights ! If I had not have called ocwen with a closing date on 3/1/04. I never would have known my house was on the auctioning block! Or even in danger of this. I fell this is contengency due to fraud!!! I feel that this is conspirancy againist my civil rights with fraud ! Also promisary fraud ! I am a single Mother of one . I intend on taking this to the courts ! I intend on winning!!! This is wrong!!! I reolize that I was behind on my payments , that is why my mother stepped in and we did the quit claim deed, so that she may refinace to payoff ocwen. I had no idea of the auctioning block being a threat at all !!! Never even recived a foreclosure letter!!! Sincerly ,

I to am dealing with Ocwen. I am behind in my mortgage, but have made payments and even triedto make a payment plan with them they told me to shut off my cable, shut on the computer line and internet service, and not send money with my kids for lunch that they should bring lunch to school instead. Last week we got our check back from them saying they would not except it and wanted full payment in a bank check only. So we tried to refinance our loan and found out that they reported to the credit agencies that the loan is in forclosurer, they never told notified us that they were starting forclosurer process. Anyone who has any advice or suggestions please let me know. I am contacting the attorney generals office which I was adviced to do from the mortgage company I tried to refinance with.....
