OEM parts bin used a stolen card to bill me for parts I did not order, for a vehicle that I do not own.

They claimed I signed for these parts. When questioned about which carrier they used they responded with UPS at first. I called UPS and found out they had not delivered anything to me from this company. When I called back, Oem parts told me that a company called ontrac had delivered the parts. The biggest problem with all of this is that I am a paraplegic (on bed rest) and I can not get the door very easily. I have not received a package from this company. This company Ontrac does not appear to be in business in California. I do not own the make and model of car the part is for. They also did not have the V code from the card they charged. Be aware that this company is going to rip you off.

Hi Rob,

Wow - great job, getting in something that isn't even your company's fault! That's good customer service.

In the future, I would never mention your company's name when replying to posts here - that will make this site show up more easily when people search for them on google, yahoo, etc. It can be damaging if people see this site in connection with your company! That's why I didn't mention your company's name in my post.\

Hello Steven,

My name is Rob and I work for OnTrac.

OnTrac services all of California and the major metropolitan areas of Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Utah. We used to be called California Overnight but changed our name to OnTrac because of our growing service area.

If you'd like, I'd be happy to research the tracking details of your mentioned delivery. Please send the information to [email protected] or you can reach me through the form on the Contact Us page of the OnTrac website at http://www.ontrac.com/contactus.asp.

For privacy reasons please do not post the tracking number on the thread.

Thank you,

rob

You've said a few things that show me that you could probably resolve this if you just know what to do.

1. The shipping company you mentioned second definitely does deliver in California. They bought an old company, (k)alovernight - replace the k with a C. I do that so they don't show up on this site.

2. Cancel the payment with the credit card company. If you didn't authorize the charges, and you didn't sign for anything, you can't be held liable. Do this quickly - you have up to 90 days from the time you REALIZE the fraud occurred.

3. Don't blame the company who charged your card, blame the person who stole your information and committed the crime! That company is just trying to make a living, and guess what, they're not the only merchant who has ever charged a card fraudulently. You need to contact the police if you haven't. In fact, do this before you contact the credit card company (as in right after).
