Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I purchased a side mirror from Old Bike Barn (oldbikebarn.com) for my 95 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R. Shipping was slower than other shops (took 5 days to ship) but that's not the problem.

When the shipment arrived, it was the wrong part! I called their customer service number and got voicemail, so I left a message. Never received a call back, so I waited a few days and called again, another voicemail.

I tried to request an RMA through their site, but when I processed it, it came in at less than my purchase price. Considering they shipped me the wrong part, I didn't feel I should incur shipping or other fees, so I called again and got voicemail. I always get voicemail, as this company NEVER picks up their phone and NEVER returns calls. I just leave messages that are unreturned.

On my order confirmation, the owner of the company, "Bear", gives his personal email address, which I've written to, but like his company; he'll never respond.

After a couple of months of trying, I just resigned to the fact that I picked a disreputable company to purchase from and considered it a cheap ($21) lesson to never do business with them.

The irony is, I keep getting solicitation emails from them and last week got an email stating, "...reaching out to you today to ask a favor. Word of mouth advertizing is the main way we are able to continue to support the older bikes and if everyone we intereacted with took the time to "like" our Facebook page or tell their friends about us it would go a long way."

The reason I found it ironic is that the only thing I heard from this company after leaving messages and complaints has been a request that I like them and refer friends to them!

Alright, Old Bike Barn; I'm glad to tell friends and any potential customers of yours about my experience in the hope that they won't make the mistake of doing business with you.

If you are looking for motorcycle parts, avoid Old Bike Barn.
