OMGprotect.org This company has been shut down, but all of us who were ripped off, what is our recourse to getting our money back? I know that at one time, when you called their phone number, you were given the name of an Atty. in Florida. Is this person still proceedin This company is operating in another country and pretends to provide computer technical support from viruses I think the Phillapines. Florida
Two years ago, I signed up on line for a OMG Protect program to keep my computer from any viruses, and suposedly to keep it running smoothly. Then in November I recieved a notice from an attorney, when I went to call them about suspicipus behavior on my computer. It was then that I learned that this site had been closed do to the fact that they had broken FCC rules and were under investigation. I know there was an attorney in Florida that filed this legal action. Since then, I have heard nothing. I spent over $400.00 for a two year contract with this company and this was my second time signing up with them.
What is my recourse now, thaat I know this is a scam? Please get me any information that will help me to be apart of any legal action against them.
