I took a bike there to be sold on cosignment. the agreed amount I was to receive after they too their 10% cut was to be $2100.. In the meantime I had my other bike in to get a new chain and sprockets and a front tire. when I picked up the bike they put new front brakes on it, I said I did not want new brakes so they said it would take an hour to remove them or I could just pay parts.. I agreed.. Well.. when the mechanic broght it back from the test drive it was leaking fluid from my clutch reservoir and my brake reservior was empty.

I asked Dale barris (owner) if his mechanic may have made the simple mistake and filled the  wrong reservior? a common mistake new motorcycle mechanics can make. after I suggested this Dale became angry and said "couldnt happen".. and "that it was an underlying problem".. and that the fluid levels never change when getting a brake job. so he said my problem was a bad gasket and sold me a reservoir gasket and sent me on my way. I took it to another motorcycle shop and they assesed it and said it appears the prior mechanic put brake fluid in the wrong reservior, draid some out and filled the other to level.

it took him 5 whole minutes and did not charge me cause he felt I was "dooped enough".. Problem solved no real big deal..ANYWAYs... A few days later my bike sold that was there on cosignment they had my wife come in and drop the title off and Jenn had her sign it (NEVER asking for any identification).. Jenn said we would get our check for the bike once the title cleared into their name. A few days later they called and said come get the check.. Well it was for $1710 NOT the agreed for amount 2100. when I went to speak to jenn about it the old lady there cut into our conversation and became angry with me and said I was nothing but a problem and to take my check and get out of their store.

I asked who did the title work and I found out that the old lady (later found out she was the owners wife kathleen barris) did it. this is illegal in ohio. she said she saw my wife sign it from across the room and "this was legal".. I personally dont even remember seeing this lady in the room when my wife signed it and assumed that jenn (later found out she was jennifer barris daughet of the owners) was a notary.. she is not.. this was illegal having someone sign a title without a notary present. it is going to cost me more to file a lawsuit againt these people than it would to just leave it as a lesson learned That lesson is..AVOID!!!.... ON THE EDGE HONDA AMHERST OHIO.... Very dishonest people there!!
