I was one of the first to sign up for One Kings Lane internet site offering name brand products at discounted prices. They were pretty good at first until that got their customer base and I have noticed for some time now that their pricing is off the charts.

Stay away folks and save yourself a headache. I ordered an iron garden bench that looked very heavy and of good quality online. I received it while I was having a stay in the hospital after surgery so I really didn't open it until I returned home and it was passed the return date . I swear I couldn't believe it. I could of gone to T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Ross or any of the other discounters and got it for $89, perhaps less. I paid $329 plus S&H for this piece and of course I have to keep it. 

What has really got my goat is this. They are now offering a soda fountain set in their antiques section. It has been painted red the chair pads covered with some outdoor fabric. They are saying that this is I believe $1200-$1500 retail and the discount price is $895.00. I wrote them and asked them if they were out of their minds.

They say these are from the 1980's (not true). My mother bought six of these sets for her rec room in the basement of her home in Illinois in 1968 from Sears and they were priced at $29.95 A SET. I actually have a set in my garage. They were originally painted white with candy cane striped chair pads. So...folks don't get ripped off. I have deleted One Kings Lane from my e-mail and you should too if you are a member. 

I plan to report them to the BBB.
