I signed up with One Source Talent because I wanted to start my modeling and acting career. I had heard about them from a friend and they said that they had heard good things about them. I believed them; I sent them an application and heard back a couple of days later and set up an appointment.

I went to the interview and was signed up for their services because they said they would get modeling jobs sent to me all the time. I paid 500.00 up front plus an additional 39.99 a month for several months hoping to get something out of it. After I signed up, I was told that I had to get a high fashion photo shoot. They recommended (very pushy) their photographer and said I wouldn't find a better deal.

I contacted the photographer myself instead of through one source talent like they recommended I do. The consultants at one source talent called me and tried to reason me into going through them for the photo shoot because they receive a percentage of what I pay the photographer. I told them no and that I was going to go to the photographer myself. From then on I didn't hear from them for months.

After doing the modeling shoot and receiving my photos (which were over sharpened and late by a month) I received one modeling job and was not even allowed to respond! But the worst part is, just a couple of days ago I received a phone call from one source talent. I assumed they were calling to check up on me, this was not the case. They called me saying they wanted to set up an appointment to interview me to become part of their "team"! I kindly told the "Representative" that I'm already with one source talent and he got all flustered and said I must have filled out the application again and hung up on me.

I cancelled my account with them after that, but I should have done it sooner. Nobody should trust one source talent, they do not have anyone's interest on mind except their own; they are money hungry, arrogant, and simply useless when it comes to wanting to model or act. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!

I totally agree with what has been said as far as looking at OST's website and NOT seeing ANYWHERE that there is a 495.00/500.00 fee. Because  it is NOT there. They invite you back for a final interview and leave you in a room for 15-20 minutes to talk to the Manager about what they think of you. Once the representative returns they happily tell you that you are accepted and all you have to do is agree to these terms on this form, then about the 3rd or 4th statement down BOOM, BOOM, BOOM this is where you find out that you have to pay this fee.

After I mentioned I was not aware of this fee, and needed time to talk it over with my spouse and do a little research, because according to my knowledge, you should never have to pay an agency for this type of service. They ask well how much time do you need. I said a few days. Once he returned to the room he said the longest they could wait was 1 day, wow 1 day. So I said thank you and have a great day. Now with all that being said, other than this let down and surprise they seem to be very legit. I just wish they would be up front about the charge. They make you believe all you will have to pay is 39.95 a month for the best guidance available. Yeah! OK! Well.....

Oh?.. Scam?.. That's so weird! Because if you go EVERYWHERE on their site, there is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING about any payments. I've talked to three representatives, and there is NO pay involved. Next time when you start bawling about a company, you need to talk to everybody and learn all the facts and investigate everything.
