I've tried to stay anonymous as much as possible as an employee for OAA. I started working there last year because it paid well and my good friends worked there. They had enough of the lies, scams and dirtiness last fall. they ran out of there.

I stayed.

Mmy department, the website department, was intact. The drunks, thieves and liars at OAA couldn't touch the website department at the time.

They just found a way to get to me.

When you sign up and pay your $4000, they'll tell you that you'll get an ecommerce website that's worth $1000 of the tuition. Yyou certainly get a quality website--but not anymore. Aa long time ago some people made a policy that no more than 8-10 hours would be put into your website.

The policy was made so that students wouldn't continue to ask petty questions and waste the time of the designers. Wwell, OAA is running short on funds, so now they're taking the policy seriously. Tthey are keeping strict tabs on how many hours are put into each site. Once your eight hours are done, you get to pay $40 per hour for each additional hour of work. Guess what--I don't get paid $40/hr.

Nno one at OAA gets even half of that.

So my hands are tied. I can't even answer emails from students and get paid for it.

I'm depressed, angry and I feel completely raped.

Please continue to spread the word, and thank you for all you have done thus far to keep good and honest people away from OAA.

And--if anyone has a website job for me, let me know. I can't wait to get out of there.

Lisa, I feel that the truth was told in your first report, and that the latter comment was not posted by the original author, especially since a name was outed. PROBABLY a lie? If people only knew how easy it is to buy a domain ($9.95 a year) have it hosted ($4.95 a month) and even have it linked to a ebay store ($9.95 basic, unless it went up), as well as how easy it is to manage you own auction/store, they wouldn't pay thousands of dollars to companies like the one she used to work for. It is very sad that people allow themselves to be taken advantage of just because they don't want to try. One of my side businesses is managing some ebay auctions and stores for some friends that don't have internet savvy, I only charge them 10% of their take for the time I have invested, the manage all of their own money, and I designed their front end in about 10 min with Microsoft Word! (If can type and cut and paste you can design a web site with NO knowledge of HTML!). Any way not to ramble on (my postings are ususally more focused) The ripoffreport has given me great insight to the inner workings of many companies due to the dillegence of former employees posting their stories. The one factor that links all these people, including Lisa, is the greed of the owners to provide as little service for as much money as possible, at the expense of both their clients and employees. More Later on Some Other Posting,

Is Lisa a liar or just caving into pressure

I don't know what to make of this report. If you told the truth the first time, then you should not fold or change your story. Let them sue you. What are they going to get out of you? They probably wouldn't sue you anyway, especially if you don't have anything to take.

Lisa T. Simpson is wrong! I am posting a rebuttal in the effort to not get sued. I'm not sure what to say, except that everything I said before was probably a lie. OAA is a good honest company. Thanks,
