I had booked a flight and hotel package with Orbitz back in Feruary 2015 of this year to go to Rio. I was to leave Atlanta and arrive in Rio, aI called cusomer service two times once when picking seats for the plane and a second time to inquirer about whether a visa was needed and was advised NO. I checked in on Sep 1st and after getting through the check process and security screen was stopped at the ramp stating I needed a visa. Two woman at the counter said no visa was needed and the one woman said it was not. I then called and waited on the phone for over and hour for a supervisor and explained that there company employees are giving false information pertaining to necessary documents needed and the supervisor said regardless what there company says it is my responsibility to contact the Embassy and is charging me a no show fee.i initially paid $1831.00 and I am a veteran who is well traveled, not only should I have gotten my full credit back the company should have been trying to accommodate me since it was there incompetent reps giving wrong information. I encourage you as a consumer to read Orbitz complaint reviews before booking with this company, long wait times in phone, rude employees, incompetent employees. Stay away
