This agency is full of promises with no results. A true Modeling and Talent agency will not ask you for money as this one will. They hold shows and conventions with the promise of there being talent and model scouts from Major agencies looking to book Osslin talent, but in reality you have to pay for the show and for your family to attend, along with classes and other expenses, this is where they make thier money, not from booking models or talent. Most of the models and talent that are with this agency have never had a single job but have spent hundreds of dollars in the hope of getting jobs before they finally realize, what this agency truly is about. If you stop or dont attend the costly shows they lose their interest in you.

Please check out other agencies and online websites about modeling before you commit to anything with this agency.

I Had a Very Positive Experience at the Osslin Agency

While I do not remember the exact year of my experience with the Osslin Agency here in Fort Myers, it was probably in 2009 or 2010 - certainly after the date of the complaint filed on this web site (2007).

I came to the Osslin Agency because I am a singer.

My experiences were all pretty much positive.  I did have to pay a fee for model and talent training, but the model and talent training I judged was quite professional, and I also judged the fee to be at market level.

I did not, unlike the complainant, expect to get something for nothing.  I expected that I would substantially be as an entertainer an independent contractor, paying my own way, including the costs of any shows or conventions that I attended (I ended up not attending any of them, because they were beyond my means at the time).

The staff impressed me as quite well trained and experienced in their fields of work.  I considered them thoroughly professionals.

Had I wanted to be a model, I would have judged the training I got as quite adequate - and maybe more than adequate.

I would say the same thing about my training as an actor, which I did have an interest in at the time.

If I have any complaint at all, it was that the Osslin Agency did not do any real training in the area of singing as an entertainer.

Other than the above comments, I would still recommend the Osslin Agency as a reputable talent agency which delivers value for the dollar.
