I met Jose DeLaTorre in 2010 in a Business Networking. He introduce himself as  Joe Cross (The Come Back Coach), business and personal coach CEO/FOUNDER of OMY International also know as OYM University.  I had business lunches with him, provided business advise on marketing and held meetings with his group. I had an inside look of the operations and got to know other members of his staffs.

Joe and his organization looked legit until i did some worked for them. My company redesigned his logo, designed and printed several business cards for him and his staff. OYMI - DID NOT PAY! After trying to collect for months, I finally realize that OYMI/OMYU is broke! If they cant pay for a $120 invoice, why are they in business? Joe Cross teaches about having business integrity, personal accountability, self improvement and more. Joe Cross doesn't follow what he teaches. His famous line, "If you continue to follow the masses, you will continue to be a BROKE A$$E$." JOE IS BROKE! So don't follow him.

I've done business with so many business owners in the Chicago Land Area, I've never came a cross A CROOK! After failing to collect, he and his entourage "cult" remove me from all contacts: facebook, twitter, linkedIn so that any warning will not spread. The office that they held meeting never heard of him. There website has no contact info. The phone number he is using is from Google voice to filter unwanted victims.

If you read this, you have been warned. OYMI/OYMU is a scam! I'm not afraid to say it or sure h**l get bullied for it.

HEY JOE, HOW DO LIKE ME NOW?

I am an ex employee and 3 years after the fact you haven't paid me a dime nor have you given back the over $500 you STOLE. I never received any product, I never received any pay. Yet I paid for the product. How is it that you collected all the money but NEVER gave me anything to return to the people (like the BOOKs) or a refund? How come I never got my money back or was never paid for training? This business is a scam. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and department of Labor.

I met Jose De la torre or joe cross back in 2009. i answerd an ad on the newspaper that said 17$ an hour so i called and they told to bring 80$ just in case i was hired so i go and after an interview they told me i was hired paid the 80$ that was gonna be given back to me. then i went for "training" wich was alot of stuff to brainwash you into thinking they were legit they talked about how much you can make and to not listen to your family all this nonsense.so then they said we needed 250 for our starting kit because we were gonna start selling fire safety kits. the prices were outrageous!!

200 for a small fire extinguisher!!! i was a little skeptic but i kept going they wanted me to sell 6,000$ worth of material, i did then i became a buissnes manager i saw how jose dela torre would rip people off and didnt care he would always say not to care about your family and always think about making money. i went to some trips with him and i saw how he bahaved he was married with a kid and he would be touching girls and getting drunk thats who he really was. some told me all he is is a thug in a suit!

all his people would talk about having money and going places but they were all broke! they would wear the same clothes at least 3 times a week! i had a better car than them and i has a ford escort!! then i realized they didnt have money they were scamming ppl they made them sell these things and wen they couldnt they would quit leaving jose with all this money and nobody would go back to get their 250 or their 80$ i saw all this i saw how he would only care about himself he still does noe he created his OYMU OR OYUM INTERNATIONAL or joe cross the come back coach its all a lie

he tries to sound smart but really hes just some thugh that learned how to make money from real hard working people. I quit wheni saw all these scams i would actually tell people to leave or to come back for thier money i tried to help as many as i could then i just left. im sure hes gonna respond to this and try to convice you he is so great and innocent but "if you continue to follow joe cross or oym international you will continue to be broke asses" get a real JOB jose and stop your lies dont let people like this get away report them!

#4REBUTTAL Individual responds

Fri, February 15, 2013

After 2 years I feel it is an appropriate time to respond to this report.  I respond now, for the reason that if I would have responded when this was submitted, it would of just fueled the fire. It still may, we will see. I believe this was a personal complaint, not a Business one. This individual went as far as creating a fan page personally slandering OYM. We ignored it, and it finally stopped after 1 year for a measly $120.

The truth of the matter is James was suppose to be our design and print team for OYM, but after he did one project for us which was to make 4 sets of Business Cards at 1,000, each set for $30, that he advertised everywhere. He was suppose to add 3 letters "OYM" to our already created logo at $60.

Once he took the project, the $60 originally quoted to us for Design was now $120 because he claimed "it took more time" Also, the originally quoted $30 Cards was now $45 a set, because he needed to ship them, which he personally delivered his self in his car, and charged us $15 per set for the service. We told him that we didn't want them delivered, to save on the proclaimed Shipping charge. Immediately after our office notified him "we did not want them delivered", he personally delivered them that day, so we couldn't say they weren't delivered.

Bottom Line, the Original Quote was $180. After his added on expenses that was never discussed, it was now billed to us at $285 which was $60 more for design and now $45 for 3 of the 4 Business Card Sets, because he personally gave me mine, and didn't charge me for that.

End Result we paid him $165 in total because we felt he up-charged us after the original quote, because he knew we couldn't fight it because we needed the logo done asap, and at the end we think his Business Card designs were awesome, but we are business people, and really thought it was shady to add on fee's after the fact, so in any event we should of complained about their company, but we didn't.

Do you feel we should pay the additional $120 when in my calculations we really owe him $15 for our original quote? Respond and tell us. Also I think we tried to reach out to them before, but they are now out of Business.

Could it be we were not the only customers they were doing this too?? You be the judge.

I am publicly saying we will own up to the $15, and happily pay the amount they feel owed if they retract this report, and be honest upfront with all fees, originally quoted.
