I have had the worst experience. I printed out label and was going to send in my moto g 3rd generation which was brand new and cost me a little under $200 before I mailed it one of your people called and left voicemail and I called back and he said he was going to send out labels for me and I told him I printed out a label already and I told him the make and model and carrier because he asked and he said ok send it in with the usps label then we said our goodbyes 3 weeks later after I have been emailing looking for update I finally got one saying we don’t take virgin mobile carrier which is basically sprint so then I replied back to the email asking when do you think it would be sent back to me I didn’t get a reply at all so I called and one of your people said that my 2 month old almost $200 phone was recycled which they explained it was scrapped gone forever I had no idea you’ll were going to do this so the guy I was talking to said I should of checked the list of phones that you’ll buy well I didn’t really go into detail with the list because one of your guys that called me said everything was ok go ahead and mail with the usps label, so after all this not only am I out $200 but now iam also without a phone and by looking at youlls homepage you’ll have all these big letters saying pay up to $300 for phones and then shows the three steps on how to send it and then a person holding wad of cash I would not have sent you’ll a brand new $200 phone if I knew you’ll were going to destroy it sure it might have been my mistake for not reading the fine print but its you’ll fault for calling me and saying everything is a go when I had told him the make model and the carrier I have never been excuse the language screwed by a company like this before you have to find something do about this you have read what I have just written to you you know how I feel what can we possibly do to fix this because I know you’ll make profit off of recycling phones and I feel like I was scammed into sending that phone

Sending me a letter with which phones youll purchase is a lie all I got is 2 shipping labels so that's a lie when he says make it right and reimburse me well he means $5 he was going to give me after they destroyed my $200 phone it would not have matter if I read the list because your employee told me to send it to iam reading this ripoff site and there multiple entrys people bad a similar problem, iam curious how did you sew message so quick you must have this site bookmarked because your your getting ripoff entry's daily and FYI u sound like a politican.

i got in the mail saying reason for trashing my phone was lcd screen busted and burn spots complete lie my was $200 and was only a month old and brand new not a d**n thing wrong with it

     PaceButler's website has a list of all phones that are bought by the company. This is where Alan requested a label from. We also sent him a letter with the list including the disclaimer that states that we buy back phones from major carriers ( at&t, Verizon, T-mobil, and Sprint). Alan sent in a phone that was not on the list and was branded Virgin mobile. It also states in the disclaimer that we do not return phones and they will be recycled if there is no value. 

     I spoke with Alan and tried to resolve the issue in where he told me that he didnt even take the time to read the list. He voiced his reasons for being upset and I shared with him that I would try to compensate him. He was still upset, I tried to make it right for him. I closed letting him know that if he has a phone in the future to call and I would personally look up the model for him. It is important to us that we have a good relationship with our customers and by no means do we want them to feel like we got over on them.

     If there are any concerns about a model of phone please dont hesitate to call PaceButler and speak with me directly.
