Palisades Collection - TxCollect Dba CTI Ripoff This company is trying to collect debt that was settled in 1999 Austin Texas
This bill was settled by the courts in 1999. We only had to pay 1/2. It went to a collection company by the name of Great Lakes.
I sent court documents and paid $242 to the Great Lakes Company. I had never heard of Palisades until today when CTI sent a bill for $513 in their behalf. I dont know where these companies are getting there information.
This acct. was settled and paid for back in 2000. Also two years ago, my wife received a bill from Palisades saying she owed $90 for a ATT cell phone bill. She went ahead and paid it even though she was sure that she had paid the final bill for that company already. This amounts to a type of extortion. These companies should be held accountable and I intend to pursue this matter in court
