I have been diligent about checking my credit report and two weeks before refinancing my house and found yet another attempt at ATT fraudulently collecting a debt they are not due. I have waited years to apply for a credit card and last week I did... now this is on my report. My credit score has dropped 69 points. A have spent countless hours communicating over this matter. I have had it! Obviously the courts are going to be the only resolution to this matter. Palisade NEVER tried to contact me and they have caused me thousands by sneaking this on my credit report.

I am very interested in entering a class action law suit against ATT & Palisades Collection. This has gone on too long. I have been in a dispute with ATT for years and have spoken and written ATT and their collectors on several occasions. After many many hours of conversation and written correspondence I thought I had the matter resolved (close to a year and half ago).

The brief facts: I had an ATT wireless phone. They did not live up to their obligations and monthly I would have to communicate their errors (roaming charges, etc); the errors where fixed after hours of communication, but would show up the next month. One month I got a misc. charge from them, when I called them, they informed me it was because they did not receiving my contract.

I had been so displeased with their service I told them that was actually a blessing, and I would no longer want their services. The lady disconnect my service within minutes, no hint that ATT considers this a breach of contract (that thdy didn't have).

Well then the charges started coming. After countless hours of phone calls, I wrote two letters one directly to ATT on Dec 02. A full year later I received a collection letter from their collection agency Bureau of Collection Recovery, Inc, 7575 Corporate Way, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. I spent hours on the phone and finally wrote then on Dec 03. They took it off their books and refered it back to ATT.

I again did the phone thing with ATT and I thought this issue was resolved. I have witnesses that attest my communication and I have copies of the letters I sent. Somebody please contact me. I will start the small claim process on my own, but some guidance is welcome.
