I purchased shock absorbers for my 1996 Subaru Legacy L Wagon (and gave them ALL of that info...).   I provided all of the information the website asked for.   If there was more information needed, then the online store should either prompt for that and ask further questions, OR it should throw the order into a review so that a rep can verify that the parts are correct.

I knew something was wrong when the parts arrived and one of them didn't look right at all.   Sure enough, it was the wrong part.

PartsGeek is claiming that because I didn't have a rep verify the correct part order, that it is somehow my fault.   However, they have no way to contact anyone, except their "service ticket proceedure" which takes three days to get a response from, and who has time for that?  And, why would I think I needed to verify an order for a part that I just provided the make, year, and model of a car for?

Bottom line - they refuse to pay the return shipping for an order they screwed up (which cost me about $38.00 because I now have to cover myself and send the part Certified Return Receipt just to stay ahead of their stupidity).  AND they are charging a restock fee...   So, this $62.00 part is now costing me about $50.00 after the cost to return and the restock fee.  Which just feels like a scam because they can now resell a part that they have received 15% for...

Then they have the audacity to FINALLY send me information on the correct part, as if I would buy ANYTHING from them.

Horrible.   WORST customer service EVER!
