Passport To Fun - Simply You Deceptive advertising Internet
I responded to a free offer from easybakeware, and Passport to Fun/Simply You was to pay the 1$ shipping in exchange for trying Simply You free for 30 days. They
charged my account in less than a week, but never sent me any member info, so I assumed they would just keep billing me (I can not reach a live person to talk to, and it was easybakeware who provided me with the phone number to Simply You) as Simply You had never sent me any correspondence of any kind, so I had no member number
to refer to.
Simply You did, however, charge my account with the initial $1, and $14.95 about a week later. Since I had no way to cancel it, I cancelled the card I used in the transaction.
I'm sure that when they try to hit me up for another charge, my phone # will miracul-ously appear in their records.
They were also supposed to include a $25 Wal-Mart gift card along with the offer, to which I have not received either.
I believe easybakeware and Wal-Mart are innocent pawns in this scam, but should be made aware of who their associations are, as well as their consumer service
ratings of these associations.
