My son was denied service at Patient Fisrt today because they claim I , his mother, have an open balance. I paid the balance owed and some late fees from the bill they sent me. They cashed my check. When I called them, they told me they sent my bill to a collection agency and I owed for the collection agency. I don't owe anything because Patient First cashed my check not the collection agency. Patient First owes the collection agency.

My son doesn't have the same insurance. He is a separate account. He's mentally ill and it is hard to get him to go to the doctors because of his paranoia. We get him there and he gets denied service by false claims. They should not be allowed to deny a child medical attention. It's a doctor. It's unethical. It's healthcare that will be paid in full by my son's insurance. I'm not applying for a loan.

Pateint First should be shut down by the State of Maryland for unethical practices. If you report a doctor they investigate it, but because it's a facility does that mean that it is immune to the rules of ethical behaviour? Our country can force people into healthcare; we should be able to force healthcare to work for the poeple or get out of the game.  Get out Pateient First. We welcome the concept of healthcare you provide; we shut the door on your strong arm tactics.
