Patrick Kimbley had advertised on Craigs List and someone in my house had hired him -- and, after 6 hours, fired him. We chatted about how unfair that firing had been about how good he is and how he hadnt been given a chance.
I felt sorry for him my housemate can be unfair. After I paid Patrick for a couple of pick-ups -- DVDS and file cabinets on August 25 I gave him a job. Ihired him to fill DVD orders for a film I made. He was boastful about being detail-oriented and said hed held responsible corporate jobs but had to take care of his mother and just needed to make some side money. I told him to fill orders within two days and gave him DVDS, envelopes and stamps.
Not long after that I started getting emails from customers who hadnt gotten their DVDs. When I forwarded the first one to him to see what could have happened, he emailed the customer back to say that she shouldnt worry, he had sent it -- about a week after she ordered it, as if that was an acceptable thing to do. And it was downhill from there. Queries kept coming in from people who hadnt gotten their DVDs, and when I said I wanted records of what he had done before I paid the bill he gave me for his services, he hung up on me. I still get complaints and cant get an answer from Patrick about what he did and did not do so that I can fill orders for customers who werent handled. He wont respond to my emails and hangs up on me when he sees its me calling. And he has my stamps and my DVDs.
