When I first went to the dealership in May, 2009 and bought my 2002 Kia Optima with 102,000 miles on it, I didn't realize how bad the car was.  I didn't know much about cars, but I didn't think they would rip me off as badly as they did.  I bought the car for $7,000 and it will be a total of $9,000 after interest! I wish I could get out of this contract so badly but I am stuck! The check engine light went on the day after I bought it, so I scheduled an appointment with their mechanic and he said it was a hose and he had fixed it but the check engine light went on again the next day! Then one day I was getting ready to go to school, and my car wouldn't even start! Luckily a neighbor realized what the problem was and temporarily fixed it until I had to buy a new piece to put back on.  Sometimes when I am on the freeway and my car is switching gears, the car will kick really hard or the RPM will go up really high and I will hear a loud noise in the transmission.  The Air bag has been on for a few months, too. The breaks have been bad since the day I bought it also, they are very squeaky and I do not feel safe in this car at all!  I NEVER received my tags for registration in the mail so I still have "EZ AUTO SOLUTIONS" on my license plates.  My radio is very staticy and I cannot even listen to it! When I got an oil change at Jiffy Lube, they said it was definently due because that car hadn't had an oil change in so long and that I needed to replace the serpentine belt which cost me a total of 60$ to have it replaced.  When I was signing my contract, Larry told me that I would have a warranty for 3 years and up to 100,000 miles.  When I called him today, he told me I didn't have a warranty because I didn't purchase it and told me I needed to talk to the mechanic about any problems I had with the car.  When I called the mechanic just now, he said there was nothing he could do for me after 30 days that I had purchased the vehicle.  This car is probably worth about 3,000 (if even that) and I am paying them way more than I should have.  I don't know if there is anything I can do about this after I have already signed my contract but I will advise people to never go through Paul Blanco even if you haven't built any credit yet, they are very rude on the phone and do not want to do anything to help once they have already got your money.

From what you said, my only thought is the 100,000 mile warranty. Was that AFTER you purchased the car with 102,000 miles on it already, or was the warranty for an additional 100,000 if you purchased a warranty.

What does your paperwork say? Odds are it says 30 days. No dealer would sell a 2002 Kia with 102,000 miles on it and warranty it for another 100,000 miles. Kia's don't live for 200,000 miles.

Your real complaint is "I NEVER received my tags for registration in the mail so I still have "EZ AUTO SOLUTIONS" on my license plates." That was back in May 2009 so you are now driving illegally.

Call your states Secretary of State office and tell them about the plates.  It would cost you less to pay again for plates than to be pulled over for illegal plates.  Plus, the plates you payed for are out there somewhere. If they are being used for crimes you need proof that you never received them. The Secretary of State will help you with that.
