Paul Brown Sell item not owned Rome, Italy Other
Seller advertises a late model ATV for sale at 1/3 cost of new, ATV is in Rome, Italy. Seller will send tracking number then wants 1/2 of sale price and shipping fees sent western union to them, after receipt of funds states he will ship ATV, buyer has 7- days to inspect and send additional funds to seller, if buyer dosen't want shipping company will return to seller in Italy, Rome.
I received tracking number from company called Freight- Forwarders. I then asked for freight forwarders to send description of item with vehicle identification number. The sent me vary breif description of item with no VIN. I did some online searching for scams and located a very simular scam involving the same shipping company. I also asked seller for VIN to no- avail. I told seller to ship item COD if necessary and I would inspect or return on the spot, feeling that a scam was taking place.
