On 08/19/09 I ordered the Louann 7piece set (6 chairs and 1 table) from Hi-Def Homestore advertised on Craigslist and spoke with a man named Chip Copeland said that he had only 4 of the chairs included in the dining set and the other two will be shipped to my home on Friday 08/21/09.

08/19/09 Chip Copeland delivers the incomplete order (4 chairs and 1 table).  Stated that the form of payment must be cash or check and make it payable to Paul Copeland instead of Hi-Def Homestore.  (in July he said hi def accepted credit cash or check) when informed him of payment.  He reiterated that the other two chairs will arrive on Friday 08/21/09 at my door.  Minutes later the bank called saying that Chip Copeland was trying to cash the check.  Verified account and the money had indeed be taken out of the account within minutes.

08/21/09 I called to get the eta for the 2 chairs being delivered. Complaint times approximately 12:30p, 2:15 said still waiting on the call from Coaster Furniture (tracking, time shipped etc) Chip Copeland said let him grab the other line as if it was the manufacturer, or distributer.  3:00pm I asked what did the manufacture say again Chip Copeland said he was still waiting on the call from coaster (tracking, time shipped etc).

On call back for a refund feeling uncomfortable and disappointed.

Chip Copeland stated that he would call me first thing Monday morning with an update but never did.  Again, I phoned at approximately 3:00pm him and he again said he was still waiting on a phone call from the Coaster furniture and after I informed him that I never heard of no such thing, and that he had my money I was no longer comfortable nor satisfied.  I also told him that I trusted that my product would be delivered and for him to remain in contact like he said but neither happened.  Chip Copeland became irate and upset and said that I have 95% of the product (as if I should be happy with only this) and said what do you want me to continue to call you and say that she (lady from Coaster Furniture haven't called yet).  From this point I asked for a refund and he said the way I do refund is in-store credit.  I told him that I no longer wanted to do business with him or this company and insisted that I get my money back.  I am demanding a full refund for my purchase and I know longer want to do business with this company (Chip Copeland or Paul Copeland or Hi-Def Homestore.  I sent information to them regarding this matter via email.

I feel that I have been deceived and taken advantage of and there is nothing that can be done about this.
