We have a lease with Pawnee leasing company and have had nothing but problems with them. I got a phone call at my home at 8pm from a representative who was demanding a payment for interim rent for tanning beds that I had no idea I owed. The rep said that she left a message for me and I alledgedly was on vacation. Then, I said that I didn't get it, but what do you expect from a high school kid. They went on to insult me and demand payment over the phone or I was going to get hit with a $400 late charge. The bill was only for $300. I reminded them that I was at home with my children, but they didn't care.

Now, months later, I am 1 month late on my payment. Before I was late, however, I asked for a deferment as all my other loan companies granted. Not Pawnee, they would rather sue you than give you a 1 month deferment for a brand new business. We then offered to settle with them on the original amount of the loan including all the interest we had already paid. While negotiating with us, they filed a lawsuit in county court.

This company is insulting, impersonable, and money hungry. They were offered a very reasonable settlement to cover their loses, but was to greedy and wanted the 4 yrs of interest that haven't even occurred yet.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. DON'T SIGN YOUR LIFE AWAY WITH THESE PEOPLE!

why pay? simple....the equipment was necessary. The additional fees were not part of the agreement. They tried to collect outside the contract. the fees were usery. they were not paid. they threatened to repo the equipment we invited them to try. They simply kept adding fees upon fees, pushing the account past due. Hence PAWNEE LEASING breaching the contract. In the end they did not collect a dime more then what they were entitled to.

Why are you paying "interim rent for tanning beds that I had no idea I owed"? If you don't own them, why pay rent?
