I recently applied for merchant services with Paysimple. All information filled and process and application was approved. I received an email saying I am all set to charge. So I did. My customer’s card was charged but Paysimple never credited the fund to my account. I received email asking for details of the charge and supporting documents. I emailed all the information including copy of duly signed credit card authorization form from card holder and email correspondence authorizing the charge. The whole process dragged for 10 days with uncountable follow up from my side. And eventually on the 10th day I received an email that Paysimple terminated my merchants services. The charge was refunded back to my customers card. Please note during this whole time the fund was never deposited to my account. I had lots of embarrassing explanation to my customer and I lost the business deal in the process. After a week or two Paysimple debited usd 530.18 from my account for the credit card charge. I called and was simply told that this was the fee for the credit card charge. My argument is Paysimple took out the fund from the credit card, held for 10 days and then refused my merchant services, I lost the business and now I am being charged for the fee ? The money never ever was credited to my account so why should I pay for the fee ??? They refused my merchants and now wants to penalize me ? I have a small business and I just cannot afford this loss. I am writing this as this is totally unfair.
