Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

They offer training, certification, and job placement assistance. Lets break it down here:

Training: For the top-shelf training for MCSE Certification, they have one instructor. Not two, only one. Very knowledgeable instructor and good at what he does. However, out of the entire class, make sure that you are one of the two or three students in the class he deems as worthy lest he be embarrassingly rude to you, even during class. I witnessed otherwise very sharp students belittled during class and the why is a mystery to me.

Gripe: I am paying a LOT of money for this training to learn, not to be arbitrarily judged. Also: For working adults it is difficult to attend with 100% regularity. There is little to no effort or assistance to get you caught up when you miss a class. This will make the instructor turn on you.

Certifications: Be sure that you understand that you pay for the certification in addition to tuition. I, as well as some other students in my class thought that it was included in tuition.

Job Placement Assistance: With a handful of job opportunities forwarded to me, most of which were internships, part time, and day gigs, it was a far cry from the expectation I had from the discussion when signing up for this course. Only a few real employment opportunities were passed my way, and no further placement effort beyond that.

Also, there is an interesting and, in my opinion, a conflict of interest relationship that the instructor has with Workforce Alliance. If you are not one of the chosen few, the question has to arise then does this mean I am not employable? Also, you will find out early in class about the relationship he has with the courthouse of PBC and his friendship with many of the judges.

Though the rest of the staff is very helpful and pleasant, it makes it difficult to be unhappy with them. I think they are really over a barrel by choosing a bad apple for a one-only instructor.

P. C. Processor is the best technical training facility that I have had the privilege to attend, given my career as IT Enterprise Solutions Architect.  Their knowledge and their willingness to reach out to their students are extraordinary. I have been very impressed with the instructor in my MCSE class. My  thinks instructor outside the box and goes out of his way to teach us not just within the syllabus, but how it will affect us in the real world data center environment and prepares us to confidently proceed to the certification process. A major plus is the ability to reset a class for little or no cost.

I am a student of PC Professor.  I am now taking the MCSE course.  I do have the teacher that is talked about in the above complaint.  My class started in December of 2014 and ends in July of 2015.

I personally have never seen this teacher be rude to anyone, or to judge anyone, or for that matter to have favorites that are given better treatment or anything like that.  He always has been very helpful to every student in the class, even the ones that miss many classes and have to catch up.

I have done my homework before taking any of the couses here or anywhere else.  I learned long ago that no school has anything to do with the actual certifications.  They are given by a certification company such as Pearson Vue and before that Prometric.  This is the company that gets paid for giving you the test, regardless of where you actually take it as a lot of schools also have applied for authorized testing centers status.

I found this teacher to be a very honorable techer and have never seen him belittle anyone.  On the contrary, I have seen him be very helpful to students who actually don't have some of the prerequisites for the course in explaining how to do something on the computer that they really should know already before taking MCSE.

As in any college, if you miss a class, it is up to you to make arrangements to make it up on your own time, either at home or at the school during another class which you would have to ok with the instructor.  I have seen him offer this to students and also to me when I missed a class.  Also, one of the very best things about PC Professor is that you can resit any class, in fact, most MCSE students already know this and are expecting to take the course a second time.  It is a lot to learn in such a short period of time, especially if you are working full time.  The reason they already know this is because they have already done this during the A+ class that they have already taken.  This makes the stress of making up a class you missed not so stressful, knowing that you can do it again in class.

As far as job placement goes, I have always had a lot of help from everyone there as far as job leads, how to interview better, creating a better resume, in fact, my first class there was A+ back in 2000 and after getting my A+ certification, I was given a job lead with a letter of recommendation to The Answer Group (T.A.G.) in North Lauderdale where I was hired immediately.  Granted that that was before the job market got real bad.  But even today, I just finished a one week temp job to set up a private high school with a new server and wipe, reinstall and configure workstations for the whole school.  There were six of us from PC Professor that actually worked the job and I was given the oppertunity thru my MCSE class as was everyone else in the class.  Not everyone wanted to do it though.  But if you want to work, it is available and the opportunities that arise in class are great.

As for this teacher taking about his job at Workforce Alliance and the Court system, these are jobs that he did in his career and he does mention them from time to time, usually as either a reference to explain what usually happens to a sysadmin in this or that situation, or as a what not to do or best practices.  Unfortunately, the original report failed to mention this and made it sound like  it was either a conflict of interest or a bad thing.  I see it as a good thing. His experience taught me what not to do (and especially what to never do) and what the difference between what you learn in class and the real world.  Also, a letter of recommendation from him would help a lot with any job I applied for to anyone who knew him.

As you all probably know by now, there are always 2 sides to a story.

I fully recommend PC Professor as a great place to now only learn these courses (A+, MCSE, CCNA, VMWare, CEH, etc.) but also to meet a lot of people in the industry in this area,  Most jobs are found through networking and knowing people and that's the truth.  This MCSE course and passing the Certification test will change your life forever.  You just have to keep a positive attitude, take it one step at a time, don't set yourself up to fail, and never give up or stop learning.

PC Professor is pure hands on and requires commitment for the time of the classes.

Because the course is progressive (the next level depends on the previous level), whenever someone misses one class, we all cannot afford to go back to the previous steps.

Everytime I missed classes, I spoke to the instructor or a colegue to get the labs and pages that I missed so I could catch up with them.

In regards to certification, I did my homework and knew I had to pay for each exam I took; in regards to job opportunities, it is possible that employers are hiring someone better qualified, or your resume is not good... I personally have been working for the same IT firm in WPB for over one year, thanks to PC professor's indication.

I've been a student of PC Professor WPB since 2009. With them I took A+, MCSE, MCITP and CCNA, and I recommend to anyone who needs to prep for these certs.

Just a quick thought to this complaint; Go and get the education and the certs. If you put in the effort this is a good place to go. Good helpful staff that will help where they can. It's a tough economy right now and effort is required on your part for placement. Don't wait for others to place you. I attended a couple of years ago and my biggest complaint is getting email responses from instructors. Otherwise I think it is a viable choice.
