PDI Management ripoff threatening harrasment Orange California
I have been paying a debt that they purchased from Discover for the last six months. It took over a month of harrasing calls before they agreed to let me make payments. Six months later they start calling my mom and told her that either myself or my lawyer need to contact them. I dont have nor can I afford a lawyer.
After returning the call I was told that whether or not I make payments they still plan to sue me unless I settle the account right now. After a lengthy discussion I was told my payment agreement would be extended. I also informed them that I was the ONLY person to be contacted regarding this matter.
One week later I'm contacted again. In this message they told me that they were tired of trying to go through my mom and wanted to talk to me directly. I was told once again to have my lawyer contact PDI.
Can they actually sue me and garnish my wages even though I'm making payments to them? I'm tired of these phone calls every time my file gets transfered to someone else in the office.
