Started at Peakview middle of April 500/week draw 10% of check. Training unpaid I was aware of the unpaid training 1 or 2 weeks max.. then draw then pipeline full draw stops commission starts. I learned a lot from week 1 no pay training with Will Jackson on customer service, scoping, estimate. Nothing on the process of getting paid. Other then the mention of 100,000 that wasn't unrealistic to make yet this year and that once my sales start my draws can start. Week 2 no pay Training Jeff Pierce Estimating commercial, customer service, door knocking, excellent training he is a roofing genius. Mention again of the 100,000/ year draws after first sales.

By the end of the week I was running leftovers with Chris Braden who was the previous salesmanager he hired me. A lot of gutter bids or repairs which was fine gotta learn don't pay as well since you get 10% of check 150-2000 average didn't get a single job using Jeffs bidding spreadsheet. Week 3 no pay Handling of lead from office to signing slow but I'm new at it so I'm feeling good head into the office early to get a jumpstart on what Chris had for me since I was working to jobs we filled in where we were needed teamwork.. Jeff started asking questions about my estimates I informed him of what I knew to The point I had handed it of to my teammates an would let him know when I did. He started speaking down to me in a derogative manner for not being on The ball with my jobs. I walked out of his office I quit.... I got home Jeff called apologized stressed out big bid due etc.. informed me of what he expected on my files..

Week 3 no pay Running office leads, canvassing afternoons and Saturday. Signed a couple roughly 15,000 couple reroof several repairs... Written probably 30-50 estimates. Jeff offers me salesmanager opportunity hire and run canvassers pay 10 an hour + bonuses on signings.. we interview Mike I think the Fort Carson in.. Week 4 no pay Request office manager type me up an A to Z form on the process of getting paid.. she walks me through a few steps gets sidetracked. I work leads work the week. I'm using my vehicle for all work since the GMC that was the companies isn't legal for road braking issues. Jeff wanted me to drive it an other employees do but I have a professionals drivers license so my liability if a wreck occurs... Jeff didn't care he had recently purchased a sweet race car so his mind was elsewhere.

Week 5 no pay I again request the process be typed down so I had a guideline to follow. I was informed I needed to fill out an IRS paperwork. I didn't have time then so took it with me. Worked office leads, finished out week. Week 6 no pay Day after mothers day I figure I'm not getting paid I'm going fishing.. for awhile. After being gone but keeping my boss Chris in the loop on letting him know I'm not making any money where is the draw.... I forgot to hand back in the IRS 1099....my fault. I'm driving back to Colorado 6/8 we get hail Jeff calls and tells me to get back to work all that time of not being paid is going to payoff now!! Week 7 no pay I got back to the office handed in my W-9 and went back to work. 730AM every weekday is meeting and mandatory Friday OSHA. which I forgot to mention previously independent employee but times and places and expectations of Jeff. I wasn't able to afford gas one day while running leads for Jeff I had a appt at 11am Itexted Jeff the deal he just replied with a blank text after 7 weeks no pay he offered nothing.

Week 8 first pay 235.00 Beginning of the week is looking good Jeff got me a legal truck to drive..let me mention though he wants me to pay for routine maintenance and gas. Also wants me to take some of my bigger clients to dinners and wine and dine....Jeff also states that this week my draw starts I made it!! So the minimum I will see is 500/ week. I'm also walked always through The complete process of submitting for pay. Friday I have a check minimum 735.00 I'm counting on it is not much for 8 weeks work but its due that's.for sure. I didn't go to the mandatory OSHA meeting Friday morning so they put a check hold until 4pm I talked to Will and expressed my frustration he didn't understand my frustration and thought I was overreacting. He did give me my check though for 235.00 for the two checks I had brought in in week 3. No draw and Jeff is out of town.. I begged Jeff Friday to please please please find me when your back in town he had the office cut me an unsigned check he said Sunday when he got back into town he would get whole of me.... He didn't.

week 9 no pay I moved my leads to someone else if they werent going to pay me and I had this to that to do I decided my best options regarding Peakview would be to to 100% independent. Bring in a check get 10% not run all these estimates and not make a dime. My first day back I signed several as soon as a I told Will I wanted to be independent he told Jeff i quit and he absorbed all my commissions. Not to mention Jeff then started testing me things like " sold all those leads about 6,000 in commissions, thought you should know" and then another job I had signed a bit one he texts " that job was a nice one, suck to be you" I responded to Jeff saying that's great but i don't trust you to owe me 6,000. This type of text harrassment continues the remainder of the week technically while still a 1099 employee.. Week 10 no pay I find a new roofing company I inform Jeff via text that I have decided to leave Peakview Roofing after not only the previous weeks actions on his part but after talking to laborers in house I knew PeakView was crooked finding anything they can to pull off the jobs pencil whipping the numbers basically stealing The actual roofing laborers pay... I do not know this first person let me make it clear I know my story which i have shared to the best of my recollection in my opinion. After informing Jeff i was leaving Peakview he tested me a day worth of insults, put downs, and innapropriate extremely unprofessional text messages.

That evening he called and said he was mad at me for saying he wasn't trustworthy I don't even know him he kept saying when i told him I know you don't pay and always seems to have reason... Why he started pointing fingers at old office staff, or mistakes happen, etc.. he then stated that he would still pay me for all the leads I helped sign not th entire 10% but something just get whole of Will he said...lol notice how he passed the buck off again to make sure I get paid. I'm not holding my breath its been a month!! Anyway not a bad guy Jeff Pierce but he would make a great politician.

I hold no animosity towards the Peakview family or Mr. Jeff Pierce the evening I quit Mr. Pierce contacted me an made a statement similar to he believed or business relationship was just bad timing chain or unanticipated events.. bad timing he just kept saying.... I remember thinking it is bad timing it was Mr. Pierce allowing me to put in the time and not paying.. bad timing right. If he seen sales wasn't for me as the professional tell me I don't got it I'm a big boy... Don't string them out on your leads with no pay. So I'm not really holding to much weight to his rebuttal I believe he needs to say something it his business. I honestly believe an individual wouldn't really have to worry about this happening again Peakview is a solid company and has quality employees. Get it in writing from Jeff and only Jeff if not there is no accountability day one otherwise you are at risk for being misled with.empty promises of draws and huge commission checks.. lesson learned if it is to good to be true it probably is. I think his turnover rate with employees speaks for itself.. I've been both a customer and subcontractor for Peakview advice to you Mr. Pierce know what going on in your own company. I believe that's why he got so angry an immature when I informed him of my decision to leave. The rebuttal on here has been the most professional correspondence I've recieved since terminating relationship with his company. My interpetation of the situation is not only from my personal experiences as well as 1st hand accounts from former and current employeesChris B, Reed, Brian O, Ben, Tyler, and Will J, in each an every story 1 thing in common Jeff is gonna make you fight for your pay... Regardless. This is true from my point of view.. Mr. Pierce may disagree he is entitled... Jeff you are right though I would starve in sales, estimating claims for a major insurance provider is the ticket thanks for the training.. oh and Jeff still hasn't paid after calling and saying he would...glad I didn't hold my breath.

Derrick was brought in by Chris B and was hired as a canvasser to canvass roofing leads. He never got any leads? The whole time he worked here he sold may be 5 jobs in 2 or 3 months. This guy can't sell! We pay on commission if you dont sell you dont make any money. Derrick can't sell and it is beyond me why he stuck around as long as he did. We have a signed sales agreement with him and he has been paid everthing owed to him according to this agreement. Weekly draws are paid out againt jobs sold as long as they are selling jobs. No jobs sold no pay, its real simple. Derrick is out of line for putting my personal information on your site, he posted a copy of my check with account numbers and our mailing address. He used full names of people who did nothing but try and help him. I have invested several days even weeks into his training, just to have him slap me in the face. We gave him all the tools and resourses needed to be successful and he was not. He is bitter for tring as long as he did and not making any money this is not my fault. Some people at our company make an easy six figure income. The opportunity was there for him as well he just cant sell. You either have the gift or you dont.  This is a consumer complaint data base he was not a customer. My advise to you Derrick would be to stay out of sales because you will starve to death if you don't.

Good Luck and my best regards,

Jeff Pierce
