Peanut Labs Media is a company that caters to F2P (Free to Play) MMO (Massive Multi-player Online) Gaming sites. The one in particular for my situation is gPotato.com also known as Gala-Net, Inc. (Which in my opinion is not part of this scam). What the company does is provide a way to earn virtual cash for your game (mine specifically is Luna Online) in exchange to fill out offers, surveys, or participate in free trials, where as these ask for personal information such as email address, phone number, address, date of birth, and sometimes even your social security number. In return you a given a pre disclosed amount of points in doing so. You are also given a specific instruction in how to acquire said points prior to continuing. Seems legit right? Well literally 90% or more of these offers do not credit you points.

My situation was I did maybe a grand total of 100 of these offers/surveys. I may have gotten 5-10 of these credited to me. Another 5 credited to me after a 2 week battle with 2 of their costumer service reps. I even provided screen shots as proof of fulfilling there requirements, and after that I only received maybe about 10% of the points that were owned to me. To give you an idea of what I mean, i was owned about 10,000 points, more or less, from all the surveys I had proof of. This doesn't include the survey I fail to capture screen shots for because I didn't think I needed to. After the 2 weeks of arguing with the company i received about 1000-1200 points. After that I did not receive a reason why the other points weren't credited or even a response back to the many emails I have sent. Their excuse for this was that the companies they work for may have their own guidelines in which they would credit for these offers, yet no where in their descriptions to they disclose this information. Nor during there Terms & Conditions do they disclose this information. I, myself, spent a lot of my time to fill out these offers/surveys with the promise of these rewards.

I know that providing my information will subject me to spam and junk mail, but I was okay with that since these rewards were promised. As well as thousands of other people that have done these offers. I personally know people that have done a lot of these offers and still haven't received a single point in return. People may immediately start trolling this report, but think of being promised something in exchange for you time and trust, and then having that promised broken many times cause you believed this to be a legit business. This company is making money of us out of thin air. We do the work and time and provide our information so they can turn around and sell our information to these other companies and then turn around and not reimburse us for that time and information. People from the gaming community can easily understand this.

For people who are not from the community, let me put this into a different example. If a major company holding a event where if you showed up and volunteered your time to help and bring others along and gave you a list to do and were offered a free set of ,i don't know, movie tickets, then after the event when you come for your tickets they said sorry, you didn't qualify because you missed something and don't tell you what you missed. Would you be okay with that? This is worse then having to chance choose a prize in Box A or Box B when nothing is in either box. Anyway now I have a email full of spam and personal information floating between several companies in exchange for nothing. I really hope others see this and agree cause it pains me to see how so many people work hard for there living and people like this make a killing of ripping off others and making money from nothing.
