Peapod Stop and Shop, Grocery delivery, Peapod by Stop and Shop Peapod has Pee in Their Food South Farmingdale Nationwide
I worked for Peapod for a year and a half and the conditions for the food are disgusting. The delivery drivers are known to urinate in the green boxes we kept the food in (known as totes) regularly as well as on the ice packs we use to keep the dairy and produce cold, with the managers knowing about it and never doing anything about it. There is dirt and grime on the ground and the good, "sellable" produce is kept next to the trash compactor. It is absolutely disgusting. I would never in my life order from Peapod. Management also fails to give employees breaks on a nightly basis as well as allows their employees to constantly come in under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
