How the plan works is instead of paying whatever your pharmacy is charging for a medication, you pay the Usual and Customary schedule which the insurance companies use for reinbusement purposes. On brand name meds, saving can be minimal at best, since distribution is tightly controlled. However, on generics - savings can be substantial - especially if a drug is on what is called a MAC list. Gemfibrozol and Albuterol are two that come to mine where significant savings were realised by the purchaser. These list change on a regular basis. From my experience in customer service, the only delay we encountered in processing cancellations came from people mailing their cards back to us. They usually ended up at our billing party's address and then slowly bulk shipped to our headquarters, where they waited to be processed. One phone call should be all you need. And the reps are all on site. Make a note of who you talked to. The answering party will know them. After a company-mandated conservation attempt - you can elect to cancel your card at the end of the coverage period. This is where I faced the most customer misunderstanding. There is a good chance that the last charge may be on your CURRENT credit card bill if you cancel your coverage near the beginning of your credit card cycle, it can appear that you are being billed more than a month after you cancelled. While the card doesnt work for everyone, we did offer a free 2 month(I think) trial to evaluate what this card may do for you. If you are experiencing ongoing customer service issues, let me know and I can contact someone at the company who can look at the problem. While we were too big NOT to make mistakes, there is no policy in force to retain the customer's money for a product that doesnt meet their needs.

This will stop reoccuring charges

When someone keeps charging your credit card, be it this or any other company FIRST thing is to call your credit card company and tell them you lost your card. They will issue you a new card number. This will stop reoccuring charges. After that THEN if you feel ripped off dispute the charges with your credit card company.

don't take no for an answer

If this is still going on, when you are talking to your Credit Card company, ask them to be on the phone while you are talking to the billing department at PPP. This is possible, don't take no for an answer. I think it's the disputes department of the CC company. When I worked at this company, and let me tell you, it works for some and it doesn't work for some. The people it doesn't work for cannot believe it can actually work for people, but it does. Anyway, CC companies had no problem calling for a client or using a 3-way call to speak to us. I never had a lawyer call, but that would probably work too. A lot of lawyers do gratis stuff like that. Maybe that would work, if anything else, it would drive the point, don't you think? You can also request to speak to a supervisor, just be aware that if you are talking to a customer service rep, they really have no power, we are treated like worker bees and really can only pass along the request to one of just a few supervisors. Also, most of the time supervisors aren't around or are taking calls themselves on the service line. My best advice is to keep plugging away. I know, you're ticked off and feel this shouldn't even be happening to you. I don't know enough of the nitty-gritty to answer the shy this/that, but I'm trying to help out . These questions have been asked of me and I wish I could help more, I don't mind rebuttals or responses to this if you have a constructive question. Well, I hope someone out there found this helpful. I tried to watch my spelling as one post-er mentioned as she mis-spelled a few as well. I think that was unnecessary, but I guess she was just mad.
