Personal Comfort Bed Offered a "risk free trial", wouldn't take bed back for 120 days, then refused to issue full refund. They will only refund the mattress price, not adjustable base. Misleading. Orlando FL
Shortly after purchase, contacted company to return the bed as it wasn't comfortable and the cover tore within weeks of receiving it. Was told you must have it for 120 days before a return can be initiated. Nothing was mentioned at the time about the base not being refundable.
Now after 120 days, contacted to initiate return. Was told that only the mattress is returnable, not the adjustable base.
Advertising was deceptive, as their 120 day risk free trial from their website states that "Advanced, Elegance and Memory Foam Series Models Only. We are so confident this is the bed for you that we are willing to offer you a truly risk free trial. If for whatever reason this bed does not live up to your expectations and you are not completely satisfied with your Personal Comfort® mattress, you will be granted a full refund on your mattress purchase."
The bed cost over $6500.00, was not of great quality and now I am stuck paying for the adjustable base. They had many chances to be upfront about the return policy and chose to be deceptive and claim that a refund would be issued, until the time came to return it.
