I had an MP3 GoGear player that went on the fritz. I called the call center beause it was still under warentee. The man told me to send the player in, and I would receive a new one back. 2 weeks after sending it in, I had gotten a phonecall from someone at philips, leaving no name, saying that they could not send me a new player because they didnt have any in stock. They offered me an $83 return value for the player which was over $120 when I bought it less than a year ago.

I have now been waiting for 4 weeks for my check to ome in, and each time I call, they keep telling me that "It was sent out on friday, and will take 6 business days to get to you". SO I wait 6 days, and call again when its not here, and they tell me that it has been shipped out on a totally different date, and to wait 6 more days.

So I wait 6 more days and call again today, and the girl tells me that there are no notes as to when my check was shipped, and she said I would be waiting up to another 4 weeks to receive my check.

I wanted my new mp3 player in the first place, NOT the check!! Now I am even more inconvenienced then I was before with a malfunctioning player. If I knew this much trouble was going to come out of this, I would have just kept the player, and got it locally repaired.

Watch out for Philips people.
