Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
So, this happened to me about three years ago. I just found the note I wrote to myself reminding to always remember how bad my experience was, using a few choice words of course. I'm sorry if my experience doesn't cover all of the corporations business dealings. I sure wish I had reached Frank, the President. I tried but I couldn't get passed the office girl to a mechanic.

I ordered my transmission (A4LD) off e-bay from Phoenix Re-trans, made payment to Phoenix hard parts. It's been so long I probably don't have any hard data (paper) but I have some E-mails, etc.

What follows is a review I have placed on another site.

If I could give them less, I would. I ordered a rebuilt 'dyno-tested' tranny for a bronco II from these guys. I sent them back my broken one in a timely manner (less than 30 days), expecting a core charge return of $250. I called after 2 weeks, then 4 then 2 months. Always, it was "It's in store, it hasn't been checked" and "It should be out to you in about 2 weeks. I'm super flippin' mad now, right? $250 bucks, right?

Finally I'm like, can I get a guarantee of 2 weeks or can I speak to the mechanic. Then it's like I'm the jerk who is impatient, "Well we can't do that" "Sir, lower your voice" And honestly I was pretty steamed, a little loud. So, I'm like 'screw it' it'll come or it wont.

THEN >>> I install my transmission with a friend who is a certified tranny mechanic. Goes in good, seems cool, 3 days later the thing starts slipping in reverse. The paperwork says "no refunds". Im in OR, their in AZ. Call my credit card, its been too long. No help from them. Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This cost me a total of $1100. I tried multiple channels to get a return. For some reason I couldn't find a way to reach the people who mattered. Not for lack of trying.

I lost the car, a pristine 1987 Eddie Bauer Bronco II cause I couldn't drive it or afford to re-re-build it.

I understand that the tranny had no warranty post-install, but come on it failed immediately. No core charge or anything. Still mad. If Frank want's to dig up MY records and make it right I'll retract this statement. Until then, I wouldn't trust them with my money again.

I don't know about any Julius Edwards, I never got that far.
