pierson piling mike pierson Installed Crooked Sea Wall- Damaged Property Minden City, Michigan
Pierson piling install our seawall crooked. It is sloping toward the river and sideways. We have growth between our panels caused by them putting chains on our panels when they tried to straighten them,which they could not do. They also damaged our driveway driving there equipment over. Mike told us he would put tires over our driveway so it would not be damaged,which they did not do.actualy there was enough room they could of avoided our driveway.
He also damaged our retaining wall that he said he could do the job without damaging it. The sea wall and retaining wall are to separate walls. When they started installing the panels to the seawall they were installed crooked he told he would be able to straighten them, 3/4 of the way he said he would not be able to staighten them and admitted doing a bad job.
We left to go home we live 75 miles away when we returned Mikes company was no longer there including his advertising sign. He left us with an unfinished job, broke our driveway, collapsed our retaining wall, did not replace our sidewalks, did not put our cement landing in between the retaining wall and seawall and left us with a gap in the wall where steel steps was suppose to be installed. Before hiring this company give us a call so you can take a look at our job.

First of all this case was taken to court and I won the judgement, and won restitution. I never agreed to do any concrete work for this customer, they were very ureasonable. I used tires and we didnt damage their driveway, the tree company did from a log dropping. The seawall wasn't installed crooked, it had a slight lean due to the amount of debris in the ground, that was unpreventable.
We didn't collapse or damage their retaining wall. These are all lies made by a very unprofessional and unpleasant customer. If anything they were claiming was true then the judge wouldnt have ruled for them to pay me! Our company has lasted three generations and is booked years into the future and we enjoy continued success in spite of lies such as this, we will be contacting our companies attornery in regards to such slander.
