Pinkflix ripoff Got my credit card number to verify my age and charged my account fraudulently Internet
Pinkflix got my credit card number to verify my age ONLY and charged my checking account without me signing up for membership to their site.
I want to report that I went to pinkflix site to do their admit one free 30 minutes of 100% free access. But upon doing that it gave a spill about having to verify age and to do so I need to enter one of the following SS#, Driver's number, credit card number or my visa bank card number. The next thing I know they charged my checking account $49.99 and $1.99 on October 31, 2002. I email them to let them know that they wasn't suppose to and that I had wanted them to cancel and reimburse me my money.
I have emailed their company about 5 times already and they keep saying that they will cancel it but at the end of the contract period only. I don't even recall their being a contract period. I would think that these site will be able to be cancelled on a monthly basis per the customer request anyway. I even told them that this was my first time doing this but it will be the last also. It is sad when you try to do what's right and get caught up in wrong.
